Internship Training Program
New in 2009!This advanced training institute combines theory and professionally supervised direct practice in the area of child sexual victimization. The training’s focus is on comprehensive trauma and abuse assessments and related intervention and treatment in this highly specialized area of practice. October 1, 2009 marked the launch of our first Internship Program. Four Interns have begun the year long intensive curriculum delivered by various experts in the field including the Council’s Clinical Director, Nancy Falls, and our senior clinicians.
This exciting innovative program is made possible through the generous funding support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Educational Forums
The Council offers exciting learning opportunities, once or twice a year, to the professional community in the form of training and educational symposiums which feature leaders in the field and focus on evolving trends, emergent research, and best practice in prevention, treatment and education.
