Polar Bear Dip
Our thanks to the participants, volunteers, and sponsors who made the 1st Annual Polar Bear Dip for Kids a wonderful success. A brave group of 26 Dippers splashed into Lake Ontario on New Year's Day to raise $2,000 for the Community Child Abuse Council. Congratulations to Rayne MacPherson, top pledge earner, who single-handedly raised $737 in pledges.
Special thanks to our friends at St. John Ambulance for being on hand, and to Margaret Maillet and her volunteer team for all their efforts to organize this event.
